According to Sidney Taurel, the chief executive officer and chairman of Eli Lilly, the company is delivering extremely encouraging financial results to its shareholders in the third quarter and with that it can be estimated that Eli Lilly will show good results in this year. Eli Lilly and Co. makes it clear that it is increasing its 4th quarter adjusted earnings guidance from 86 cents per share to 91 cents per share and in the process the company has excluded a 3-cents-per-share research and development expense linked with licensing agreement.
