Employees At Bothell-based Icos Corp Are Likely To Lose Jobs

The number of people on the verge of losing jobs after the takeover of Icos Corp. by Eli Lilly is on the rise as recently it has become evident that after the approval of the shareholders of the $2.1 billion sale of Icos Corp.to Eli Lilly, about 500 people employed with the Brothel based Icos Corp. are likely to be sacked.

Spokeswoman of Icos Corp. Lacy Fitzpatrick states that almost all the employees have been issued notices and as such no one is likely to stay on if the deal is finalized by shareholders.

This is the first time that representatives from Icos have made it clear that there is no scope for employees of the company to continue their at Brothel or other branches of the company if the alleged takeover happens.

Icos has also asked some of its employees to remain in the company till the end of 2007 by working on contract assignments.
