Cialis Shows Success Against Erectile Dysfunction In Prostate Cancer Patients

A group of Dutch scientists conducted an experiment in which they used the anti-impotency medicine Cialis on erectile dysfunction patients suffering from prostate cancer and found the drug to be a successful cure for the same.

In a randomized trial conducted at the Erasmus MC-Daniel den Hoed Cancer Center in Rotterdam , it was seen that 48 percent erectile dysfunction patients who were administered with Cialis were able to have successful sexual intercourse while only 9 percent undergoing placebo treatment were able to achieve that. Furthermore, results showed that 67 percent Cialis administered people suffering from prostate cancer showed improvement in erections in comparison to the mere 20 percent erection improvement in people taking placebo.

Prostate cancer is a common occurrence in men but when treated, some men faced difficulty in triggering off erections required for satisfactory sexual intercourse which was a clear indication of erectile dysfunction or ED.

The experiement carried out at the Erasmus MC-Daniel den Hoed Cancer Center was elaborately reported in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics.
