Police Seizes A Drug Laboratory In Repentigny For Manufacturing Fake Cialis And Other Medicines

In a raid carried out on 11th January 2008, the Canadian police confiscated a whopping 31,000 counterfeit Cialis pills and 25,000 fake Viagra tablets along with ecstasy pills that amounted to 44,000 and a sum of 83,000 methamphetamine pills from a dirty laboratory located on LeClerc St. in Repentigny. Along with seizing illegal medicines manufactured in the laboratory, the police has arrested the brother duo Gilles Girouard and Pierre Girouard for manufacturing and trafficking in illegal medicines.

Moreover it is revealed that in the raid, the police has also confiscated kilograms powder material stored for the manufacture of 145,000 meth tablets, 35 kilograms bulk powder for making 160,000 ecstasy pills and a certain amount of the chemical ketamine that is generally utilized in veterinarian medicine as an anesthetic.

However, all the recovered fake pills, including the erectile dysfunction drug Cialis are found to be coated in yellow, blue, beige and off-white color and all these pills are reportedly colored with latex paint.

Sources make it apparent that the total cost of the seized medicines is around $5 million.
