Study Throws Light On The Benefits Of Exercises In Preventing Erectile Dysfunction

In a Harvard Health Professionals Follow-up Study (HPFS) that experimented on 31,000 men aged in between 53-90, it was found that people who do exercise are considerably safe from male erectile dysfunction. As the trial drew to a close, it was concluded that the men who exercise 3-5 hours a week are 30% less likely to become victims of impotency.

In the study ,one third of the men enrolled for experimentation were found to suffer from erectile dysfunction in the previous three months. As the research to evaluate the benefits of exercises was carried forward, it became evident that people who indulge in walking, running and other cardiovascular exercises are considerably at a low risk of succumbing to heart diseases, blood circulation and other problems and as such they are significantly protected from the clasp of erectile dysfunction.

The conclusions derived from the erectile dysfunction study headed by Harvard Health Professionals were published in the "Annals of Internal Medicine".
